Rachael Williams is a Theatre Maker, Actor, and Director born and raised in South Australia. She studied Performing Arts, Stage Management and Directing at The University of Tasmania. After graduating she started teaching acting at L.Y.T.E and acting with CentreStage Theatre company were she performed in Cymbeline, When the rain stops falling, Terminus and Love me Tender. She worked with Mudlark on ‘One day’ Performing and Directing. She then moved to Sydney where she performed in The Blue Balloon, Oh my god, Perfect Wedding and Cristina in the cupboard. The desire to create her own work and be back with her community brought her home to Adelaide. Since returning home she established Play Every Day. Play every day has since produced A series of awkward encounters, 24 one and 24 two, and New Mum New Dad. She collaborated with local comedy troupe Good Gravy, Directed Tender Napalm for Scutti Productions and performed in And then there were none. Rachael loves to learn and grow as a performer, director and theatre maker. She is always looking for new collaborations and projects where she can exchange knowledge with artists. Rachaels latest project in development with co-deviser Holly Howard is called Yummy Mummy, a look into the wellness industries exploitation of womens insecurities.
